Sure curious on the “why?” part. I get the icons of AKG and Buff State, but we were also celebrating some years ago how cool it was on the waterfront, and in particular, lots under cover.
I'm not entirely sure, other than it seemed to be a consensus within that it was time to move on. I too truly enjoyed the years on the waterfront, especially on the RiverFest Park side. Such a great view of Buffalo, for sure.
