Thanks for this review. Saw Susan Tedeschi 20+ years ago and was impressed even then. I really have to see TTB. Really enjoyed Rick Beato’s interview with Derek too - he is such a thoughtful and soulful person and musician.

Lord Protect My Child was spine tingling. The duet with Margo Price performing Dylan’s Don’t Think Twice was another highlight. Margo Price was excellent!!

My “moment” was their cover of Derek and The Dominoes “Keep On Growing.” At one point Derek just let loose strumming furiously, sans pick, at the beginning of a solo. That was it for me. We had tickets for CMAC a couple days before, but COVID had decided otherwise. We passed our tix to good friends, who then hung with us at Artpark. They appreciated getting to see the band twice in three days. We all decided, if life would allow, we could follow this band all over the place! Great write up, Jeff!

Wow! A band at the very top of their game. Truly one of great performances of the last few years. And.. bonus: A Prince cover! A Woodstock worthy “Soul Sacrifice”! An unforgettable night of brilliant art. At least my 60th time seeing a member of The ABB on stage. Could have been the best, ever.

This is the first time I missed them in this area since they formed. The ticket prices for the show were just too extravagant. I have the money. But refuse to keep getting gouged like that. It was a hard decision Jeff. Really luv them. Always get completely lost in the music when I’ve seen them. Which makes them so special. All the tickets for the Mainstage theater shows were too high this season. Just a shame.
